George Baumchen, PA-C

Mr. George Baumchen is a physician assistant with Durango Orthopedics and Spine Colorado. He is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant, and is trained in assisting with all variations of spinal surgeries.

Mr. Baumchen received his Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas, with a Certificate in Physician Assistant Education from the School of Medicine and Health Sciences from University of North Dakota, in Grand Forks, North Dakota.

Mr. Baumchen is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. His professional interests are orthopedic trauma.

George and his wife have 2 children. He enjoys spending time with his family, rafting, camping, skiing, fishing and sailing.
