Robert Wallach, D.O. Dr. Wallach is board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and is board-certified in Electrodiagnostic Medicine. He focuses on non-surgical treatment of back and neck pain, joint pain and nerve problems, and provides rehabilitative care through a multidisciplinary team approach. Dr. Wallach is skilled in the areas of Electrodiagnostic consultations (nerve conduction studies and needle EMG), osteopathic manipulation, treatment of back pain during and after pregnancy, and joint and soft tissue injections. Dr. Wallach received his undergraduate degree from Portland State University. He attended Medical School at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri. Dr. Wallach then served eight years on active duty in the United States Army - as an intern at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington; Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation resident at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C.; and staff physiatrist at Madigan Army Medical Center. Dr. Wallach is a fellow of the American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine. He is also member of the following organizations: International Spine Intervention Society (ISIS), American Osteopathic College of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the Amputee Coalition of America. Dr. Wallach is a Colorado native and is married to Christine Smith, PhD, a professor of chemistry and biochemistry at Fort Lewis College.
